3rd Quantu Project Workshop planned for Saturday, May 23rd

Wishing everyone a healthy Spring. To be precautious amidst the coronavirus concerns, we are postponing our third Quantu Project workshop, originally planned for Saturday March 21, to later this summer. A tentative new date is Saturday, May 23rd, and we will send email announcements closer to the date to confirm.

We're excited to welcome UT-Health Sciences and Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases Neuropsychologist Dr. Mitzi Gonzales, PhD, ABPP-CN as a guest speaker. Dr. Gonzales plans to present on the latest research linking sleep to cognitive health. Read more about Dr. Gonzales's research here.

In late July, we will also host an open house for all of our volunteers interested in visiting the lab, learning more about our neurogenesis experiments, and seeing our new research facilities in the Science & Engineering building at University of Texas, San Antonio. Marking a one-year anniversary, the Quantu Project team will also share research updates and open the call for those interested in participating in intervention studies to improve cognitive health. For Quantu Project volunteers who cannot make it in person, we also plan a webinar.

Stay tuned for more details soon.

Thank you to all of our current and prospective volunteers, and friends - we are grateful for your participation in advancing brain health through the Quantu Project. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you again later in Spring!
